Animals Are Our Equals
I want to bring together all the animals I have ever known through description, poetry and pictures. The animals you meet have represented my past, present and therefore my future. I count them all my best firends.
Cows are especially important to me. Of those described simply don't exist anymore - each had a few sweet years before the slaughterman took them. This is my tribute to them. Short lives, spent virtually unknown and unnoticed. And yet each is an individual with defining, deeply lovable, characteristics. I fed them fresh hazel branches, sat with them, photographed them and often shed tears when we parted.
This is not about me. They can speak - articulately - for themselves.
